I didn’t know about that anon, i just went and checked.

Well i guess we could focus on Alice’s(Troughton’s) comment/tweet “i’m afraid i quite enjoyed some of that homoerotic fanfic. Takes all types eh?” which was a respond to the other Alice’s tweet about some of that fanfic being offensive.

I’m cool with 2ndAD Alice explaining herself by saying she didn’t mean the homoerotic aspect that was offensive rather some of the “story elements” blood play etc. And i quite understand that maybe she felt that way moreso because she was referring to RPS.

Having said that i need to point that i wish people would stop throwing words like “offensive” around when they actually don’t mean that. She could say it wasn’t to her taste or something similar. Saying it offended her is like saying yes like everyone else i got offended by a piece of writing that was clearly meant as fictional and oops i guess i disregarded the warnings as well!

Um i just caught up with the whole story. 

Basically Eoin wrote a short story on his blog that some people took offence with cause they felt it was homophobic. They tweeted stuff he tweeted back and things got heated for a while, Eoin said he might delete his twitter but things seem to have quiet down now.
